IFSC Prague 2023 Boulder World Cup
After the last round of the IFSC World Cup in Salt Lake City USA. The European leg of the IFSC World Cup starts in Prague Czech Republic. This is also the first world cup of 2023 where 2 of the biggest name in climbing, Adam Ondra and Janja Garnbret participated in. Both climbers had not been actively competing in IFSC world cups after the Tokyo Olympic Games and only participated in a few selected competitions. Adam Ondra had recently become a father and Janja Garnbret was recovering from a recent toe injury. So their first IFSC world cup appearance in 2023 is much anticipated by fans.
Men’s Boulder Finals Result
The eventual winner of the men’s finals is determined by the number of attempts. The top 4 climbers were neck and neck until the slab problem M3 where only Adam Ondra and Dohyun Lee were able to top. However, Dohyun took fewer attempts to top thus beating Adam to win the competition. This is Dohyun Lee first ever world cup win.

Women’s Boulder Finals Result
The presence of Janja Garnbret normally means everyone else is at the competition to fight for 2nd place. However, after coming in 2nd place numerous times, Oriane Bertone beat Janja to win gold for the first time in her career. And what a way to win by defeating the Queen of bouldering Janja Garnbret.
